Left My Heart in Japan

My high school senior year trip to Japan, where we traveled to Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, Nara, and Hakone. I was completely enchanted with my experience in this country and hope to visit again someday.
Some memories that have stuck with me: bathing in the onsens, learning how to make sushi, eating chicken sashimi (it was on the menu and I had to try it, it was good!), feeling a moderate earthquake in a high-rise building, the loudness of a pachinko parlor, purification rituals before entering a temple, learning the art of Japanese calligraphy and writing the Kanji for “dream” on a Shikishi board, and so much more.
